My Art
Have you ever tried to share a vision?
I started when my mother signed me up for an art class, and I discovered a new passion that I would carry with me for life. I share that passion with friends and family, often making small necklaces with my nieces, or painting rocks with my husband.
Five years ago, I began selling carved glass before moving to Rockport, Texas. Once moved, I did not have the space to start up the glass carving again. Life also happened during that time, and I put my art on hold until I had the desire and space to start again.
Today, with the love and help of my husband and friends, I have started making layered paper shadow boxes that you see here. At shows, I love seeing people’s expressions when they see their favorite piece, and I love to hear how and where they show it in their homes.
